Import from Notion

Bring Notion pages in as notes — and what that does and does not include today.

Notion does not expose your workspace to an app just because you connect it. You create an integration, then share individual pages with it, and only those pages are visible. That is Notion's design, and it means you decide exactly what Handled can see.

Set it up

1Go to notion.so/my-integrations and create an internal integration.
2Open each page you want in Handled, and share it with that integration.
3Copy the integration secret.
4In Handled, open Settings → Connections → Tasks → Notion and paste it.

If a scan finds nothing, the usual cause is step 2 — the integration exists but no pages have been shared with it.

What comes across

Each shared page becomes a note carrying its title and a link straight back to the original page in Notion.

What does not, yet

The page body does not come across. An imported note holds the title and the link, not the content underneath it — so treat this as an index of your Notion pages inside Handled rather than a migration off Notion. Databases, sub-pages, and page properties are not imported either.

If you want the text itself in Handled today, copy it into a note by hand. Richer Notion import is planned.

A scan reads up to 50 pages at a time, and re-running updates the notes it already created rather than duplicating them.
